Programs

ISP creates customized study tours for healthcare professionals throughout the world. Our programs fall into three categories, and in each case the itineraries and schedules are fully customized to address the needs of the group.

  1. Healthcare Executive programmingHealthcare Executive programming:
For participants with a mid-to-senior management level in their organization, the Healthcare Executive program provides exposure to a variety of concepts and theories. Challenging each participant to think strategically and creatively, Executive programming focuses on the development of vital management skills. Discussions include marketing, financial & budget management, supply chain theory, production & operations management, team development and leadership. Itineraries are developed to be directly relevant to areas of concern for participants and include visits to exemplary health care organizations and businesses. Participants learn from industry leaders and learn to apply new skills in their organizations.
  2. Thought Leadership programmingThought Leadership:
Based on the belief that organizations are improved through the development of their leaders, the elevation of dialog and the ability to translate ideas for change into actionable improvements, Thought Leadership is aimed at those in key strategic positions in their organizations. Leading practitioners & administrators and board members sharpen their skills and knowledge in order to effect meaningful change and innovation in their organizations. This intensive program immerses participants in highly conceptual levels of dialog and presents ideas on how to ensure that a clear vision becomes reality.
  3. Peer-to-PeerPeer-to-Peer:
With a focus on sharing and demonstrating best practices, networking and personal education, the Peer-to-Peer program links groups of practitioners with peers from parallel areas in hospitals and clinics throughout the world. The Peer to Peer program enables participants to enrich their operational performance through the adoption of new approaches, ideas or techniques. The Peer to Peer program benefits groups drawn from one focus area – either from the delivery of health care (e.g. geriatric nursing) or from hospital administration (e.g. procurement & purchasing).
